Dashing through the sand….

December 24, 2018

It’s that time of year when the world falls in love with snow, evergreen trees, wrapping paper and holiday lattes. While these are arguably the best highlights of chilly winter months, I’ve come into my own Christmas-time tradition…traveling to somewhere a bit warmer. It’s a gift to myself that I know I’ll enjoy, and something to look forward to when my gray New York winter becomes too much to handle. It’s also a once-a-year opportunity to mix wintery holiday pieces with glam, hot weather ensembles for an unexpected (but always stylish) juxtaposition. Indian Summer…

October 2, 2018

The perfect match…

June 26, 2018

During the summer, I’m always looking for excuses to channel my inner beach bum. Lucky for me, I was recently in Santa Monica and was totally inspired by the gorgeous scenery. The challenge of incorporating resort wear into my daily outfits is a fun one, and working with summertime prints is one of the easiest ways to do this. One of my favorite prints of all time, the lush banana leaf, was inspiration for this particular look. The tropical foliage reminds me of my favorite place to stay in L.A. — The Beverly Hills Hotel! Small nuances and overlaps between fashion and interior design have always intrigued me. If it was acceptable to wear this print all year round, you know I would.
