The “Souvenir” jacket is a trend that dates back to the 40’s when US military personnel around the world wore jackets like this.  I’m loving this trend because of its vintage roots, and because it’s easy to update and create a certain “street style.”  The jacket pictured above is a two-in-one reversible sateen jacket.  I paired it back with yet another vintage trend….culottes!   Culottes were all over the spring runways during New York Fashion Week.  Some may have their reservations about these billowy style pants, but follow my lead on how to pull off the look:

1.  Always pair them with a fitted top, tucked in, allowing the waistband to show.

2.  Try a crop top if you dare to bare a little skin.

3.  Don’t forget to pair with a wedge or a heel to elongate your legs and then finish with a cropped, beaded jacket for instant glam!
