A nod to Nantucket…

August 7, 2018

Picture it: the sea wind occasionally lifting your hair, the sun gently touching your shoulders, and the brief thought, “Wow, I look great” when passing a store window along cobblestone side streets. It’s the perfect unique and obvious entry point without overpowering the rest of the outfit. (Which can be a challenge sometimes!) I’ve been following Giovanna Battaglia’s career for years, and I’m a huge fan of her style and talent as an editor and stylist of some of the top fashion publications. This top in particular reminds me of one of her windows she curated for Bergdorf Goodman during New York Fashion Week; a sophisticated explosion of rainbow colors! It takes true talent to take such a playful and youthful component (like Crayola colors) and refine it in such an elegant way.
