Sunny side up…

February 26, 2019

Without the constant magic and joy that NYFW provides Manhattan, the city reverts to its default for mid-February — a bleak, gray winter. To escape the seemingly endless gloom and cold winds, I recently hopped on a plane to visit some of my favorite spots in Miami and inject some sunshine back into my daily routine. While these are arguably the best highlights of chilly winter months, I’ve come into my own Christmas-time tradition…traveling to somewhere a bit warmer. It’s a gift to myself that I know I’ll enjoy, and something to look forward to when my gray New York winter becomes too much to handle. It’s also a once-a-year opportunity to mix wintery holiday pieces with glam, hot weather ensembles for an unexpected (but always stylish) juxtaposition. I get to play dress up, spend time with my love, and work on my tan. And theseΒ are a few of my favorite things.
