A study in contrasts….

March 11, 2015

Here’s my final (hopefully) winter post  for this season and my latest layering endeavor: a plaid flannel shirt under a camel corduroy blazer under cobalt blue coat.

I finished the look with a scarf and a deep toned burgundy satchel, and my version of a “slushy weather” boot…Hunter rain boots with a hint of neon.  The outfit is a study in contrasts of both colors, textures and materials.

I love the layers ! The coat is gorgeous but I particularly like the blazer over the flannel shirt and the boots I absolutely love! The colors of scarf , bag and gloves catch the eye immediately ! Love it you go girl !!!!

Thanks Phyllis! I’ve always loved mixing colors that aren’t expected, especially when its just a day full of running errands and it helps get through those gloomy days:) It’s always interesting to see how they photograph too.
