Anyone who tells you the blush-pink trend is over is completely wrong. Blush is a color that’s here to stay, especially in my wardrobe. I love blush has a neutral to complement lighter colors like whites and beiges, especially during the summer. I wore this look to work and straight to dinner after. It is the perfect business-to-play outfit. The pants are fitted enough for business meetings and the blush makes them fun and feminine for a night out.

I’ll tell you a little secret, this “jacket” I’m wearing is actually an Alice + Olivia blouse that zips up in the back. I decided to give it new life by simply turning it around and leaving the zipper open. I couldn’t let the idea of a jacket with flared sleeves pass me by. It’s always a pleasant surprise to find out a fabulous piece can be worn more than one way.

The Perfect Pink Paulette Pant is from Alice + Olivia. I couldn’t agree more with their description of these pants, a flattering high waisted slim fit with the perfect wide leg. The wide leg trend may seem a bit overwhelming to some people. I promise these are just wide enough to make a statement while still looking super chic and professional.

I accessorized with blush suede heels and a minaudière from Diane Von Furstenberg. The minaudière is a great alternative to a purse or wallet and still the ideal size to carry your daily essentials. I think this is a flawless look for summer Fridays. Get your work done and go straight to your fun plans without having to change. Summer is the perfect time to mix pieces to create unexpected work looks!

What I wore;

Jacket, pants, shoes- Alice + Olivia

Clutch- DVF
