Culottes and clogs…

July 28, 2015

HT3A0050Culottes are my new “must-have” pants for this season and are the most comfortable thing in my summer wardrobe. This trend was all over the Spring 2015 runways and they’re a great alternative to a flowing summer dress or maxi.  Culottes are a wide-legged pant that have all the benefits of a voluminous bottom, but with a flattering hemline that gives you an opportunity to also show off your footwear!  These pants are great for girls with an hourglass figure or if you carry your weight on top as they balance out your proportions. I paired these “window pane” culottes with a 70’s inspired fringed wooden stacked heel, and a sleeveless sweater vest (which also helps to elongate my look).

What I wore:

 Culottes – Anthropologie

White Button down – similar here

Sweater vest – Alice + Olivia

Clogs – Schutz

Clutch – vintage

Loved your clogs. Those heels look huge in the picture and I wonder how comfortable they actually are. I mean, wooden clogs from most brands, such as Troentorp, have comfort as their first priority. How does these clogs compare to them?

      Dear Alan,
My clogs fit and feel wonderful! They are not super high and and not huge therefore alowing me to wear these for hours! I appreciate your comment and plug for your clogs, thanks for stopping by my blog.
