Summer probably isn’t the best time to visit a humid place like the Yucatan Peninsula, but sometimes circumstances (like the wedding of a close friend) demand that a girl do what a girl has to do! So here was my strategy…I embraced the frizz and put on a head scarf!

The scarf gave me the contemorary gypsy look that I love and allowed the rest of my hair to do whatever the humidity dictated.  To complete the look, I chose a pair of multicolor wide-leg pleated pants that offers the fluidity of a skirt in an effortless pant silhouette.  I accessorized with a bag made from palm fronds, a wrist full of fun bangles, a sleeveless tee, a wide belt, and metallic wedges.

I’m ready for tacos in Tulum!!!
