One of my favorite parts about traveling is being able to dress for the new landscapes around me. When I was recently in St. Barth’s, I gathered inspiration from the rolling seaside and vibrant colors to create new looks of my own. This particular photo shoot took place at Hotel Le Toiny, one of the premier Relais Chateaux properties on the island. I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful, eclectic area to enjoy some time away from the city.

While there isn’t one true statement piece that stands out from the others in this outfit, I think the multiple statement items really compliment each other. The yellow ruffled one-shoulder top draws light and attention to my face, while the fun print of the asymmetrical skirt creates depth and movement. I’m in love with the lining that peeks through the slit in the skirt when a breeze picks it up or when I go dancing. And the yellow bits of pattern in the skirt stand out when paired with this butter-yellow blouse. Both the top and the skirt do particularly well as separates, too. Versatility is always something that I value in a wardrobe!

I’ve paired this ensemble with my highest wedges. They’re an espadrille-inspired platform from Gucci, and they’re perfect for any beachy look. My color-block bag from Frankie B. goes nicely with the colors in my skirt, but also adds a neutral so the entire outfit isn’t overpowered with brights. Some flirty cat-eye sunglasses and a saturated lip color complete this head-to-toe Caribbean dream outfit, and I’m ready for anything that the island has coming my way.

What I wore;

Top, Skirt, Sunnies– Alice + Olivia

Shoes- Gucci

Bag- Frankie B
