Cozy Valentine…

February 2, 2017

While it’s exciting to look for cocktail dresses and luxurious accessories for your Valentine’s night out, I believe it’s just as important to feel fabulous and fashionable during the day time, or a cozy night at home.  That’s why I’ve put together the ultimate Valentine’s Day look for cozying up next to a fire, sipping coffee and enjoying all things sweet.

Channel your cozy side with a soft crewneck decked out in love appliques. I adore this lightweight lip print sweater from J. Crew for a not-so-obvious take on the holiday. Both of these crewnecks put you in a Valentine mood, but are still versatile enough to be worn on other chilly winter and spring days.

Tie in the red highlights with more red highlights! A cherry-colored bangle and gemstone earrings add just the right amount of flair without going overload. And because you’ll be lounging about all day, you know you have to go with your favorite pair of jeans. Opt for a dark wash or saturated blue wash to contrast the light gray of the tops and the white of the sneakers.

Speaking of the sneakers, this love-kissed pair from Charlotte Olympia is to die for. Not only are they a darling compliment to the rest of the outfit, but I can play up my own makeup to “match” with a saturated lip stain. If you like this look, be sure to keep an eye out for an upcoming post on an equally Valentine-worthy look I’ve put together for an evening out.
